I need wine

March 29th, 2018 at 06:19 pm

The further I go, the more wine I need. I can't afford wine....so....water it is or whatever I can dig up at home. Smile

My mom is giving me a spiral so I can start recording all of my spending for April. She has some extras so that is nice.

I collected my tips for this week and I have a jar of change. I don't know how much is in there but it will come in handy. It will go towards the money I need to dig out of my hole.

I'm in a lot of pain today. I'm clinching my teeth, probably from stress. The pain is so intense and the whole side of my face hurts. I am trying to take advil but it just isn't enough. I wish I could rest but I have stuff to bake over the next couple of days. Another time wine would come in handy.

Have a good weekend!

Keep at it, Rose. The day will come when you will drink wine to celebrate!

    Hope your pain goes away.

Just a thought. Your pain could be a dental problem.

Are you on any kind of contract with the satellite tv? That sounds like a lot to pay for tv service.

Its kind of dental related. I'm a clincher. Runs in my family. I have a mouth guard to wear, so I am hoping it helps.

And yes, I am in a contract with the sat tv. I can cancel but it will cost us $190. Unfortunately they will automatically deduct that from my checking account if we cancel and I don't have the money to pay it. I am already in the red when everything clears, so it just doesn't work to cancel right now. I did get it reduced and I think it will be about $88-$90. And we are not paying for Netflix anymore.

Money can definitely be a source of stress! I'd go for tea if I were you. Make it a ritual to sit down and enjoy. If you only have water seriously, just take a few moments to sit down. Put your feet up, or soak them in warm water. And breathe, enjoy that you have a home to relax in, and clean water to drink! Look for other things to be thankful for, really try to unwind and let the mind relax from all the worries. It will get better!

I know this is a tough process. When you get your checking account covered and get in the black, I see nothing wrong with getting a bottle of Bare Foot wine (good and $5-$6). Small victories call for a small celebration!

I track my spending and that's the best thing I could do, it helps.
I'm sorry you are in pain, I hope things get better soon

I second creditcardfree's suggestion about enjoying the simple things in life and showing gratitude for them even if we only have water instead of wine. For now, I would say cut the expenses out that you can cut without penalty and get more income even if it's just something temporary like babysitting, mowing lawns, or shopping for others. Is it possible to refinance your car and/or house? Oh, and I also second Bluebird's suggestion about having a mini celebration when you get things more stable.

When does the TV contract end? That’ll be nice when it’s done.

Don't give up. If you are in pain, wine might not mix well with Advil. Hopefully things calm down for you.
