ER Visit

April 23rd, 2018 at 06:43 pm

Well, my weekend didn't go as planned. Unfortunately we had to have a visit to the Emergency Room for my DH. He is ok. But we did have some surprise expenses - Prescriptions, extra gas, items for comfort. I'm going to have to look at our bank account and see what we can do.

This is why we need a savings account.

I have done some looking into the future, and we will be in much better shape after June 22nd. I know its 2 months away but we just need to stay positive and try to stay on track the best we can.

Glad the future looks better. Perhaps there are other ways to cut out things or cut back on things to help with the financial strain.

I am so sorry about your husband.

Have you ever done a pantry challenge? That is where you look at your fridge and cupboards and try to make as many meals as you can with what you have.

As far as savings accounts go, start small. If $5.00 a payday is all you can afford do that. If you can do $20.00, do that.

Can you consolidate any of the credit cards or refinance the mortgage or car of the $13500 loan?

Glad DH is ok and that you are anticipating some improvements with the $$ after June 22.
